Andrew Lawrence is a 2007 OF/LHP from St. Christopher's School in Richmond, Va with a 6'2", 170 lb. frame. Andrew has an athletic build and performed well during the workout. At the plate Andrew is a very projectable player. Andrew has a smooth swing that is short to the ball. He shows good balance in his swing with good bat speed and easily lifts the ball. He has the bat to play at many Division I Schools. In the outfield, Andrew has nice actions and is light on his feet. His arm is projectable and should get stronger. On the mound Andrew is more of a strike thrower that is efficient with his pitches. Andrew has solid OF tools that are projectable and grades out as a mid-level Division I type player.
