Christian Jones is a 2009 LHP/1B with a 6'2'', 175 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends Monte Vista HS. Jones has a lean athletic build and uses a 3/4 arm angle. His fast ball works in the mid to upper 80's with very good life. He commands all of his pitches very well and has a nasty slider with sharp bite. He shows very good pitchability and is a very effective lefty. He will flat out win on the mound with three quality pitches. He has made a verbal commitment to the Oregon Ducks and is a very good student.
