Jeremy Jackson is a 2007 1B/OF with a 6'0'', 210 lb. frame from Stockton, CA, who attends St Mary's Stockton HS. Large frame with present strength throughout his body. Defensively he has solid footwork around the first base bag. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a straight away and upright stance. Jackson has a good approach at the plate with a line drive swing plane and a good bat path. There is strength and pop in his bat and he projects for more power in the future when he learns what balls to drive. Jackson hits through the ball and has good leverage at contact. He also showed the ability to inside out the ball to the opposite field on balls away. He is a good, strong athlete with upside in his game, and runs well for a player that weighs 210 pounds. He is one to follow.
