Austin Harclerode is a 2007 3B/P with a 6'3" 215 pound frame from Ellicott City, MD who attends Centennial. Big strong body, good athleticism, very quick for size, good speed, 7.16 60, good footwork at 3B, stays low, plus arm strength, 84 mph across IF, good reactions, big time bat, drives the ball with authority, power potential, 81 mph FB with late run, 66 mph CB and 75 mph CH are works in progress, good grades.

Austin Harclerode is a 2007 3B/P with a 6'2'', 210 lb. frame from Ellicott City MD, who attends Centennial HS. He has an extra strong build and carries his strength and weight athletically. Harclerode runs very well for his size at 6.89 in the 60. He showed good range at third base and plus arm strength, although he did throw with a lot of effort and that affected his accuracy. He has the athletic ability to play all over the field. Once Harclerode got out of BP and into game action, his offensive tools shined. During BP Harclerode had a severe upper cut and swung too hard trying to lift the ball out of the park. All the effort slowed down his bat speed and didn't leave the bat on plane very long. During the games, Harclerode shortened up and the results were immediate. He wore out the gaps, hitting two doubles and a triple and crushing the ball on line every time. He has the strength to be an impact hitter at the next level. Harclerode also pitched some and showed some arm strength, throwing 83-84 mph with raw mechanics and a pretty tight downer curveball at 70 mph. Harclerode is a high intensity player who sometimes needs to calm down if anything. His bat and athletic ability play. Very good follow. Harclerode is also a good student.
