Thomas Kinzer is a 2008 right handed pitcher/outfielder from Torrington HS in Torrington, Connecticut, with a lean and athletic 5'8"/152 pound frame. Kinzer pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a high leg kick. He has good mechanics and little effort in his delivery. Thomas gets slight arm side run on his 80 mph fastball. He throws an 11-5 breaking curveball at 65 mph and his changeup has late life at 69 mph. Kinzer hits from a slightly open stance with a line drive approach. He adjusts well to the off-speed pitch and does a good job using the whole field. Thomas is a very good student.
