2003 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Garrity is an "04" catcher who has lots of experience catching one of the nations top pitchers last year in Jeff Allison (1st rd Marlins). He also catches Ryan Moorer (one of the top prospects in Wareham this year). At 5'11/180 he is very strong and he keeps improving his game. In Wareham he popped a 1.87 with very good 79 mph velocity. He moves very well behind the plate and appears to be a real tough kid. His bat is really coming around. He's a linedrive hitter with big power potential. He doesn't get cheated and the ball jumps off his bat. He knows what he's doing and uses the whole field to hit. Bryan is an excellent student.
