Logan Morello is a 2008 MIF/OF with a 5'9", 165 lb frame from Neshanic Station, NJ who attends IMG. Logan has a lean athletic build and has an advanced feel for the game. At the plate Logan has very good hitting tools with a calm simple approach to go along with quick hands and good bat speed. Logan shows good gap to gap pop and the ball seems to jump off his bat well. He has good upside at the plate and should be able to hit higher-level pitchers early on at the next level. In the field Logan has very clean actions and is light and bouncy on his feet. His hands and footwork are both very good and he would project well at second or third base. Logan is a solid all-around player that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.
