Adam Pittman is a 2007 RHP/1B from Damien HS, residing in Upland, CA, with a 6'1" 225 lb. frame. He has a strong and husky build. On the mound, Pittman pitches from a high 3/4 slot with a long arm action. His arm action is actually quite good considering his physical make-up. Pittman gets decent extension with his arm and that can add life to his pitches. He tended to pull off his front side too early and his velocity and movement will benefit from a more compact and controlled delivery. He showed contorl of his 74-76 mph FB and his 64-68 mph slider which was his best pitch. The slider had some darting action. Though it is not a power pitch, it is an effective pitch that can start bats and finish over aggressive hitters. Pittman also showed very good feel of his 66 mph change-up. In all, Pittman was aggressive to the zone and showed a feel for pitching, while competing to his ability with his stuff. Though his velocity is short, his feel for the ball is good. Pittman is a pitching prospect for the small college level due to mixability and pitchability.

Adam Pittman is a 2007 right handed pitcher from Alta Loma, California with a solid build at 6'0", 210 pounds. He pitches from a 3/4 slot whith a smooth arm action, and good mechanics. He showed good balance on his follow through with a nice clean finish. His fastball topped out at 77 mph with some armside run. His curveball has an 11-5 break at 67 mph and showed good depth at times. He did not show a change. He hits his spots and moved the ball in and out well. Pittman hits from a narrow stance with a short compact stroke and he keeps his hands in tight. He has a line drive swing plane and he showed some power potential. He has a good idea how to pitch and will increase his velocity as he matures. He could become a good pitching prospect for 2007. Adam is a good student.

Adam is a 2007 grad from Alta Loma, California with a medium frame and some thickness to his build He threw 3 inning at the event, showing a balanced delivery with some arm looseness and arm speed out front. Adam's fastball was in the 74-76 mph range and he had a nice ability to spot the ball and move it around the strike zone. His 63 mph curveball had some depth and tilt to it and he showed a nice feel for a 68 mph change up. Adam mixed his pitches up and made the hitters swing and miss. Although he didn't list a secondary position or take part in drills, Adam hit during games and got everyone's attention with a couple of nice hits and some aggressive baserunning. Adam is also a good student.
