Joe Berman is a 2019 RHP/MIF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Nashua, NH who attends Nashua North HS. Recorded a 7.34 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a slender, wiry build and room to fill out. Primary righthanded pitcher with a three-quarter arm slot and shorter arm circle. Extended release out in front and follows through well. Kept the fastball down in the zone and attacks hitters. Looking to induce weak contact and attacks with fastballs. Curveball has slurve-like shape to it with sweeping action. Throws the breaking ball for strikes and has confidence in the pitch. Good direction to the plate. Secondary middle infielder with a quick release from a sidearm slot. Good accuracy on throws who wields well out in front. Righthanded hitter with a leg lift trigger into contact. Gap-to-gap approach and is looking to hit line drives. Handles the barrel well and showed a linear lower half shift through contact. Swings with intent and went to all fields. Great student.
