Ryan Sarcione is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Bridgewater, MA who attends Bridgewater-Raynham Regional. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, higher waist with present strength to build. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, balanced actions moving towards the ball, works to a full arm action through the back and generates extension out front at release, developing footwork on throws, shows quickness to arm and carry to throws when on top. Also pitched, similar full arm action on the mound and works to a three-quarters arm slot. Begins with a side step moving into the delivery, leg lift up slightly past belt with a hip coil at the top, lands slightly closed with front foot. Gets tall on backside and repeats delivery well, gets on top of fastball and generates short life down in the zone, works glove side with comfort and creates angle. Pitches to contact, shows short break on curveball with 11-5 shape at 64 mph. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide, even base and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. looseness to hands and remains short and direct to the ball with a line drive swing plane. Long and high finish through the ball, creates lift out front which results in carry off the barrel, quick bat and creates jump when squared. Good student.
