Brad Hipsley is a 2018 SS/2B/3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Saratoga Springs, NY who attends Saratoga Springs HS. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.22 seconds. Sets up to hit from narrow-based stance with high hands and back elbow, compact swing path in hands, gets on line drive plane. Shows some bat speed through the zone, did a good job working to all fields when necessary, flashed ability to drive the ball to the pull field. Worked out defensively in the infield, solid fundamental footwork to both sides with good direction, bends well and fields out front, works into crow hop cleanly and shows good accuracy across the diamond with throws clocked up to 76 MPH. Very good student.
