Austin Peters is a 2017 OF/3B, IF with a 6-1 226 lb. frame from Advance, NC who attends Bishop Mc Guinness High School. Medium frame, large build, compact lower half, and present strength. Posted a 7.66 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, but graded out better as an infielder. Utilized a short arm action with developing hands and showed ability to change slot up the middle. At the plate, started with a wide base, open stance, high hand set, high back elbow, and used an all fields approach. Active barrel into swing that worked primarily through the upper half. Whip to barrel occasionally and flashed bat speed. Will continue to improve with additional lower half incorporation.
