Conrad Schlegel is a 2017 LHP/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Lighthouse Point, FL who attends Pompano Beach HS. Has a broad shoulders in frame, athletic build, and strength throughout. Posted a 7.49 second sixty yard dash. From the mound, starts in a side step delivery and medium leg lift up just to belt. Throws from a high three-quarter arm slot with a deeper arm circle. Stays online and gets extended on finish, generates downhill plane from higher slot. Fastball is commanded well to both sides of the plate, mixes spots with it well. Curveball has sweeping action across the zone. Worked quickly, only threw 10 pitches in his last inning of work striking out three hitters in a row. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a high back elbow. Keeps it simple at the plate and stays level on his bat path, good strength in his hands. Good student.
