Chayce Meade is a 2020 C/MIF with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Staffordsville, KY who attends Johnson Central HS. Young and slender build, lots of room and time to get stronger. Right handed hitter, loads up on his back side, can be late getting to his front side, loose swing with some extension and lift through the ball, tends to give up his hands at contact instead of driving through the ball, will improve as a hitter as he gets stronger. 7.30 runner, shows good raw arm strength for his age and build, gets rid of the ball quickly, 2.06 best pop time, arm slot is low for a catcher and will likely have to get it higher as the game speeds up. Excellent student.
