CarVonte' Williams is a 2017 IF/OF with a 5-7 178 lb. frame from Reminderville, OH who attends Twinsburg High School. Younger build with a mature frame and strength present in lower half. Posted a 7.89 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary infielder, showed raw actions with a good bend to the ball and developing arm strength across the diamond. At the plate, started with an open stance, medium hand set with a linear swing path. Fires hips well with intent to drive the ball, ability to generate backspin with inconsistent timing. Showed a quick bat through the zone with some separation. Improved timing and leverage would generate more consistent results. Very good student.
