Thomas Guilfoyle is a 2017 OF/ with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Sunnyavle, CA who attends Fremont. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional strength. Ran a 7.33 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder, smooth, quick actions while closing to the baseball. Clean glove actions with slight body tilt to glove side while funneling baseball. Taps baseball to glove prior to exchange. Releases from a three-quarters slot that produces some uphill carry to the bag, topping at 74 mph. Right handed hitter with an upright stance, high back elbow set and leg lift trigger. Hands and lower half launch to contact with rotational actions. Produces a line drive swing plane with a quick barrel path through the hitting zone. Primarily used a mid-field approach the results in line drive, ground ball contact between the gaps. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and repetition. Very good student.
