2016 Northeast Underclass Showcase
Eric Jenkins is a 2019 OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from North Dartmouth, MA who attends Dartmouth High School. Younger player with a medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.21 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed a short arm action, developing footwork through the ball, and developing arm strength. At the plate, high hand set, limited weight shift, active hand set, and a leg lift timing mechanism. Short, compact path to the ball, longer swing, and an approach that worked the opposite field and up the middle. Will continue to improve with additional strength and rhythm in swing.
