Brandon Miller is a 2008 C/1B/OF with a 6'1'', 195 lb. frame from Tyrone, GA who attends Woodward Academy. He has an angular build with very good present strength. Miller is a very athletic catcher who runs the 60 in 6.96 and projects very well. He has all the tools to be a standout catcher and is fundamentally strong. He shifts very quickly and is comfortable behind the plate. Miller threw 77 mph in drills with a best pop time of 1.93 and his throws were accurate. Miller's bat makes him stand out among catchers. He has an aggressive swing at the plate from a good set up and is looking to drive the ball hard. He gets out to his front side quickly but it works well for him, he's long but fast in the zone and puts the barrell on the ball. He showed some lift and hit some bombs in batting practice. Miller has all the tools to be a premium catching prospect. He is also a good student.

Brandon has a strong athletic build and showed very good raw tools behind the plate. At the plate Brandon has an aggressive approach with good gap to gap pop and projectable raw power. He has good present strength in his swing and the ball jumps off his bat well. Behind the plate Brandon is very advanced as he is a top notch receiver and commands the game well. He has a strong accurate arm with a quick release and the tools to be a highest level catcher. Brandon is a solid student that should attract the attention of many high-level college programs.

Brandon Miller is a 2008 C/OF with a 6'1'', 190 lb. frame from Tyrone, GA, who attends Woodward Academy. Named to the Top Prospect Team. Miller has a good catcher's frame with present strength and durability. Defensively he has quick feet behind the plate blocking balls and in his throws to second base. Miller has good arm strength (76 mph) and accuracy that will help slow down an opposing team's running game. He has soft hands and handles pitchers well. At the plate he has good bat speed and gets good leverage at the point of contact. The ball jumps off his bat showing strength in his swing and projectable power. Miller is comfortable in the box and is a confident hitter. He has top level tools that will make him a high level defensive catcher with the ability to hit in the middle of the order at the next level. Miller is also a good student.
