Ryan Leung is a 2018 C/2B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Brookline, MA who attends Brookline High School. Younger player with a lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.09 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, showed strong transfer and release skills, shorter arm action, repeated mechanics well with good accuracy around the bag. Posted a top workout pop time of 2.07. At the plate, started slightly open, showed an active barrel with an all fields approach. Shorter, compact swing with an active barrel into his load and will make more consistent contact with additional strength.
