Cameron English is a 2018 C/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Moreno Valley, CA who attends Canyon Springs HS. Medium athletic build, young look, plenty of room to fill out and get stronger. Right handed hitter, open stance with a big leg raise trigger, lots going on in his load, has good hand quickness, hits down and through the ball well with some bat speed, pull to mid field approach. Very flexible and quick behind the plate defensively, gets low and sets a nice target, blocks pitches and anticipates with his quickness, good footwork throwing. Will play due to his defense, especially as he gets stronger, but the bat has a chance as well. Good student.
