Kris Torrance is a 2006 second baseman and third baseman with a 5'10" 185 pound frame from Port Jefferson, New York who attends Comsewogue High School. He has a strong body that is very athletic. Kris has good footwork and moves well side to side. He has smooth hands and showed a strong arm by throwing 82 mph from the outfield and 75 mph from the infield. Torrance is a left handed hitter with very good bat speed. He has strong hands and he has very good projectable power. He presently has gap to gap power and is more of a line drive hitter who uses all fields. He has a very smooth swing that will develop more power as he gets stronger. Kris is a good looking young player who will continue to improve. He is also an excellent student with an 84% gpa, an 1120 on his SAT, and a 23 on his ACT.
