Cullen Waugh is a 2017 RHP/MIF, UT with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Ponte Vedra, FL who attends Allen D Nease Senior High School. Long, lean frame with a very projectable build with lots of room to continue to add strength. Posted a 7.60 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher, pitched exclusively from the stretch, longer, jerky arm action with an online delivery and a deceptive delivery. Fastball showed cut action and did well to keep it around the zone and missed barrels to illicit weak contact. Mixed speeds well between cut fastball and 66 mph slider. Flicks slider with developing sharpness. Also worked out as a hitter, started with a high hand set and high back elbow. Linear swing plane with inconsistent timing and an inside hand path. Worked the opposite field and will improve with strength. Very good student.
