Cooper Foard is a 2018 C/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from San Francisco, CA who attends St Francis High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a very impressive 6.96 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, started with an athletic set up and sided saddle start. Showed a quick transfer and release with a lower arm slot. Raw arm strength behind the plate with a workout pop time of 2.00. At the plate, started with a spread base and used an up the middle approach. Short swing to the ball with a line drive plane. Executed approach well showing raw bat speed and occasional lift off the barrel. Will continue to improve with torque through lower half and additional strength. Good student.
