Sawyer Lowe is a 2018 C/3B, IF, OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Chaparral. Medium frame with an athletic build and beginnings of strength. Primary catcher with an athletic, slightly side set stance while receiving. Gains ground while working out of crouch with fundamental footwork. Clean, loose exchanges and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Throws produced solid carry to the bag topping at 74 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.06. Right handed hitter with a crouched, slightly open stance and high back elbow set. Stacks back side a load and creates slightly top half coil. Hands work to contact on an inside path with an uphill barrel plane through extension. Primarily worked to the middle of the field but flashed the barrel feel to work the other way as well. Excellent student.
