Trevor Swain is a 2016 SS/ with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Eldorado. Swain has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he moves well to the baseball and showed some lateral agility. Swain works around the ball well and showed solid actions through the baseball. He throws from a lower arm slot with a slinging arm action with arm strength up to 73 MPH. Swain has a longer release and has developing arm strength. At the plate, Swain starts with an open stance and uses a toe tap trigger to start his swing. He gets a hip coil at load and drifts to his front side in his swing. Swain works around the baseball and he showed developing barrel skills. He looks to pull the ball and hits off his front foot. Very good student.
