Zachary Wallace is a 2017 2B/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Dallas, OR who attends Dallas HS. Medium, athletic frame with solid build and good room to continue filling out body moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.03 seconds. Hits with clean hand path to contact point, brings the barrel with him, shows solid balance throughout swing mechanics as well. Can start a bit late at times and cause him to be mistimed to contact. Opposite-field approach to hitting with line drive swing plane. Worked out defensively in the infield. Circles the ball well and has some balance, some smoothness in footwork. Fields well and transfers well, quick release across the infield with throws topping at 66 MPH. Very good student.
