Brian Bodjiak is a 2007 RHP with a 6'2'', 185 lb. frame from Sandwich MA, who attends Sandwich. Brian Bodjiak is a 2007 right hand pitcher from Sandwich HS, residing in Sandwich, MA. Bodjiak has a lean, athletic, strong build on a very nice 6'2" 185 lb. frame that should continue to fill out a bit. He was ranked #80 among PG National Top 85 pitchers and is one that has a chance to continue to keep getting better. He pitches from an over the top slot and his arm arc makes a shallow circle on the backside. Bodjiak has a deliberate delivery and maintains good body control throughout his delivery, giving him a chance for consistency with his stuff. His arm speed is average but will continue to improve a bit as he learns to speed up his arm arc and add some more rhythm to his delivery. Bodjiak's fastball topped at 89 and sat comfortably in the 87-88 mph range, which in a "normal" showcase would have stood out quite well. He showed a usable 65-67 mph curveball that he can mix in to keep hitters off balance and a 74-75 mph cutter that has a chance to develop into an above average pitch. His best pitch was his 74-76 mph change-up. Bodjiak threw that pitch with good feel, command, and confidence. He has a pretty complete repertoire and an idea of how to pitch. Bodjiak will need to sharpen all of his stuff a bit to become a professional prospect but he has a chance to do so. As of now he is a D1 prospect and will continue to develop over the coming years.

Brian Bodjiak is a 2007 RHP/OF/1B from Sandwich HS in Sandwich, Massachusetts, with a solid 6'1"/190 pound frame. Brian was named to the Top Prospect Team. On the mound, he pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action. He has a balanced and online delivery with very good command. His fastball has late life at 86 mph. Bodjiak has an excellent changeup with good sink and fade at 73 mph as well as an 11-5 breaking curveball at 64 mph. As a right handed hitter, he has a good approach at the plate with above average bat speed. Brian has a line drive swing plane with very good hands and good power potential. He showed an accurate arm from the outfield with good arm speed at 86 mph. Bodjiak is a must follow and is also a good student.
