Cam McMillan is a 2018 SS/2B with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Kansas City, MO who attends St. Thomas Aquinas HS. Very big and long athletic build, extremely projectable physically. Runs very well for his size, 6.77 in the sixty, 4.40 home to first. Has surprisingly agile, quick and balanced actions at shortstop, sound footwork and soft hands, charges the ball well, tempting to consign to third base but has shortstop actions at present. Right handed hitter, long and loose swing, will have to shorten up against better pitching, has shown big raw power in the past. Good student, verbal commitment to Vanderbilt.
