Caleb Henderson is a 2017 2B/SS with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Marlborough, CT who attends Rham. Medium frame with athletic, slender present build and good projection on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.18 seconds. Hits with hands choked up on bat, quick and short swing, simple load and stride into contact, will drift some onto front side, line drive swing plane with middle-opposite fields approach. Made consistent contact, showed ability to hit to all fields. Worked out defensively in the infield. Attacked the ball well and showed overall smooth fielding actions, easy soft hands, stays down on the ball and fields cleanly, good footwork, clean and quick transfer, quick release with consistently accurate throws across the diamond. IF velocity topped at 71 MPH. Very good student.
