Michael Zamora is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Xavier. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary middle infield, shows quick feet moving to either side and works behind the ball well which includes coming through the backhand, extra step with a longer release, fields the ball out front, short arm action with strength that will continue to develop. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. Generates quickness to both hands and barrel, shows fluidity to path with occasional extension out front. Has a feel to work any part of the field and generates lift out front. Named to Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
