Mac Labarge is a 2019 3B/RHP, C, SS with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Dennis, MA who attends Nauset Regional High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.40 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary third basemen, showed a short arm action, rounded the ball to field, developing hands, and raw arm strength up to 81 mph. At the plate, started with an upright stance and still hand load. Limited lower half in swing, worked primarily through hands alone at contact, and showed a linear swing path. Developing bat speed that would improve with additional rhythm and lower half in swing. Also pitched, got downhill well, started with a leg lift to the waist, short arm circle through the back, and an over the top arm slot. Very clean arm action, could use additional lower half drive to the plate, and works quickly to get ahead in the count. Fastball showed sinking action at 74-77 mph with two seam life. Showed feel for an 11/5 shaped curveball as well and threw it well with developing sharpness.
