Trevor Schaefer is a 2016 MIF/RHP with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Legend HS. Shorter athletic build, has some present strength. 7.07 runner, has quick feet defensively and shows good range, also played some centerfield and showed range there, good hands in the infield, second base arm strength and actions. Switch-hitter, spread no stride approach with limited shift, has quick hands and a short line drive swing, has better bat speed left handed and makes solid line drive contact to all fields, handles the barrel well. Also pitched, over the top arm slot with medium effort on release, has some deception in his delivery. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 77 mph, threw his fastball to spots well and went after hitters. Good student.
