Monroe Britton is a 2016 MIF/RHP, OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Prospect, OH who attends Ridgedale Junior/Senior. Medium frame, lean build with long limbs, still has plenty of room to fill out. Primary infielder, ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Works well to the ball, shows ability to get through with lower half, accurate throws across the diamond with quick transfer and release. Right handed hitter, closed stance, quiet hands. Long swing with flat barrel path, line-drive plane. Developing bat speed and strength, contact-oriented approach, has developing feel for barrel use. Also pitches, has some potential on the mound. Works to a high 3/4's arm slot, up to 80 mph with fastball. Fastball has some downhill plane, deception in high leg lift and hip turn. Shows some feel for spinning a loose curveball with 11/5 break. Good feel for pitching, mixing pitches and changing eye levels. Good student.
