Antonio Anderson is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends North Atlanta. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout, additional room to fill moving forward. Good athlete, quick-twitch and posted a 6.68 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows snatch in actions with the glove at the ball, longer and balanced strides moving,, works to a higher slot on throws and shows nice arm strength and carry across, tools to remain on the left side at the next level. Switch-hitter, begins with a wide and balanced base from the left side with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; loads hands back deep at start of process but shows big time bat speed to get the barrel head out on time, real strength and ability to drive the ball out to pull side, real power potential. More direct and compact to the ball from the right side while still showing impact strength at point of contact, clean stroke and maintains balance through leg lift trigger. Nice tools from both sides of the plate. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Georgia Tech. Named to the 2022 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
