Noel Rodriguez is a 2017 OF/ with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Lincoln Park. Small frame with a lean, compact build. Projects for additional size with strength. Ran a 6.80 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder with smooth, athletic actions while closing on the baseball. Rounds the baseball well when moving to each side before closing. Creates good momentum while working through the baseball to target. Clean glove to hand exchanges while working through transition. Throws produced on line carry to the bag with accuracy, topping at 76 mph. Right handed hitter with a crouched, slightly open stance. Flashed solid hand quickness through the zone on a line drive swing plane. Solid hitting tools with the ability to use all fields from line to line. Created some backspin and carry to the pull side gap when turning barrel to contact. Repeats swing mechanics well throughout the zone with balance. Good student as well.
