Justin Pettifer is a 2017 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Sulphur, OK who attends Sulphur HS. Medium frame and slender build with room to fill out as he matures. On the infield, does a nice job of working through the baseball, moving to the ball quickly. Developing arm strength on his throws across, At the plate, starts with an upright stance and a high back elbow. Swing begins on small toe tap trigger. Has a good line drive swing plane with hard pull side contact. Aggressive approach, wants to hit. On the mound, long arm action coming from a 3/4 arm slot. Did a nice job of locating all three pitches. Fastball showed a little late bite that mixed well with the downward action of his change up. Excellent student.
