Charles "TJ" Norris is a 2016 2B/SS with a 5-7 175 lb. frame from New Iberia, LA who attends Catholic HS. Shorter athletic build, high waist, has some present strength. Right handed hitter, leg lift trigger, can get his front foot down in time more consistently has strong hands and swings hard, stays balanced and on the ball, looks to drive the ball and has some bat speed and gap power, ball carries well on contact. 7.19 runner, has sound actions on defense, stays low to the ground and has good foot quickness and reactions, throws well on the run and has athleticism. Volunteered to pitch with a shortage, threw strikes well with a balanced and simple delivery, fastball topped out at 77 mph. Nice all around player with a polished game. Good student.
