Sebastian Dean is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Adams, TN who attends Rossview HS. Medium build, skinny frame with lots of room to fill throughout. Ran a 6.93 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, charges ball well, fields the ball out front coming through into throws, long arm action up to a high 3/4 slot with average arm strength topping out at 82 mph from the outfield. Also pithed, inline delivery, long and extended arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, slows a bit at hand separation, would like to see more momentum getting downhill, hard to repeat mechanics. Righthanded hitter, upright and slightly open stance, high hand set with a high back elbow, hands dip at load, small leg lift trigger, present bat speed, flies open at times, could work on keeping front shoulder in to the point of contact, should work more on timing for better squared contact but overall good swing showing the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field. Good student.
