Ken Ferrer is a 6'1" 218 pound 2007 right handed pitcher from Pleasantville, New York who attends Pleasantville High School. He has a solid strong body that looks to be very athletic. Ken is a higly projectable pitcher with nice mechanics. He has excellent control of both his fastball and curveball. His fastball at 85 mph had late life and he was very aggressive with it. His curveball at 71 mph was very tight and a solid pitch. He is a very aggressive pitcher who goes right after the hitters. He mixes his pitches very well with good location. Ferrer also showed good bat speed at the plate. He has some raw power with a nice short compact swing but his future seems to be on the mound. Ken has a good upside and is a good student as well with a 3.25 gpa.
