Mark Latham is a 2017 OF/LHP with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Timber Creek HS. Medium frame with a slender build, plenty of room to fill out as he matures physically. From the outfield, showed solid arm strength from the outfield on accurate throws to the bases. At the plate, left-handed hitter that starts with an upright, open stance, knees start to bend during load. Short compact swing on a line drive swing plane. Does a nice job of consistently getting a barrel to the baseball. Generates hard pull side contact. Developing bat speed. On the mound, throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, pounded the strike zone. 11/5 curveball shape. Beginning feel for lower half. Projectable frame.
