Stephen Shackleford is a 6'1"/183, RHP from Louisville,KY with good FB. On the mound he throws from a low 3/4 arm slot with quick arm speed and decent mechanics. Showed 86-84fb with good armside run, 71-68cb with above ave action and spin. His motion is somewhat 'herky jerky' that adds to deception. Some effort in delvery should get better as he smooths out mechanics. Took bp and showed very good bsat speed and good balance in swing. Has good core strength and college level power. Likes the ball in and has big upside. Had nice hits in the game. He worked out in the OF and showed ave hs footwork with very good 83of arm strength. His strong bat will keep him a two way prospect. Named to Top Prospect game.
