Friedman is a 5-11, 200 lb. 2006 catcher from Poway, California with a strong frame. Friedman has a catchers body with present strength and good strong legs. Friedman showed good defensive skills in game. At the plate, Friedman swings from a wide base and uses a strength approach. Friedman has a strong aggressive swing and showed good power in batting practice and in game. Friedman has good bat speed and the ball seemed to jump off his bat. He swings easy and doesn't use a stride. Friedman is a very good student.
