Tyler Vandenbos is a 2016 OF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Dallas, GA who attends East Paulding HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, straight balanced stance, keeps hands in tight, upper half swing, aggressive early in the count and looking to hit the ball where the pitch is thrown, finds the barrel well, gets out of the box quickly and will beat out some infield hits, 7.23 runner. Sound outfield fundamentals on defense, works through the ball well with good hands and footwork, makes soft accurate throws from a long and loose arm action. Good baseball skills, just needs to get stronger to take the next step.
