Walt Morgan is a 2018 C/OF with a 5-5 140 lb. frame from Rutledge, TN who attends Grainger HS. Compact thick young build. Throws with both hands, left handed from the outfield and right handed catching, should concentrate on developing arm strength and footwork from one side. Right handed hitter, straight stance, hands loaded well in back, front side tends to open early, swings from his back side, high and extended finish, best on the inside half, hung in well after getting hit by a couple of pitches. Good student.
