Karl Mundt is a 2007 C/OF with a 6'0'', 172 lb. frame from Mandeville LA, who attends Northlake Christian. Karl has an athletic body with a medium build. Karl is a good receiver with a low compact catching stance. Carl has quick exchanges that are fundamentally sound. Karl has a quick release and a solid pop time (2.03). At the plate, Karl starts with low hands with his feet shoulder width apart in his stance. He uses a knee turn trigger to start his swing and gets good coil at load. Karl has lift in his swing and he has bat speed. He has a hard aggressive swing with a short bat path. Karl has solid power to the opposite field and has the ability to hit to all fields on a consistent basis. Karl has a solid tool set and is an outstanding student.
