Ryan McCourt is a 2017 OF/2B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Collegeville , PA who attends Perkiomen Valley Hs. Large, athletic build with a long limbs and room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball and stays low through actions, short and compact arm action with longer release through back side. Getting on top of throws will continue to improve carry, shows accuracy on throws around the bag. Left-handed hitter, starts with a narrow, upright stance and a high hand set. Short path to the ball with nice contact skills and bat speed coming through the zone, long finish through the ball. Opens front side early at times, stays inside the ball with a feel for the barrel, tools project. Very good student.
