Javier Rosa is a 2017 3B with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Rhome, TX who attends Northwest HS. Short and strong build, especially strong in the hips and core. Right handed hitter, stays on his back side to hit with some backside dip, long and smooth swing, gets uphill at times, has some strength in his swing and can drive his pitch. 7.23 runner, moves well for his build and size, gets behind the ball and has a quick first step to get there, low throwing slot and can improve accuracy, has some flair and athleticism to his game on defense. Good student.
