Jackson Mathews is a 2017 3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Benton, LA who attends Benton HS. Medium build, plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, stays on his back side during swing with limited shift from a toe tap trigger, upper body arm swing, swings down to the ball, handles the barrel and tracks the ball well but lack of shift inhibits ability to drive the ball, can improve with adjustments. 7.82 runner, charges aggressively in the infield, over the top throwing motion, arm strength still developing. Very good student.
