Chase Coker is a 2018 OF/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Douglasville, GA who attends Chapel Hill. Medium-Large frame with athletic, strong present build; body still projects moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.37 seconds. Hits from wider-based stance with high hand set, toe tap timing mechanism. Good flow throughout swing mechanics, stays inside the ball well and is able to control the barrel to hit the ball where it's pitched, uses the entire field well with line drive swing plane. Has strength in swing, and generates good line drive jump when squared up. Attacks the ball well in the outfield, moving well to it and fielding cleanly through it. Long arm action with projection, threw 85 MPH from the OF with good accuracy. Short steps to the ball in the infield, gets around the ball well and fields cleanly, quick arm action on throws across the diamond, clocked up to 79 MPH. Very good student.
