Devin Abercrombie is a 2016 OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Jacksonville, TX who attends New Summerfield HS. Slender athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Good runner, 6.97 in the sixty. Aggressive to the ball in the outfield and will overcharge and get off balance, has the athleticism to improve with better footwork, opens early when throwing, developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, crouched stance, upper body arm swing, swings hard and is aggressive, spray line drive contact to all fields. Has the potential to keep improving with better fundamentals in all areas. Good student.
